Questions to ask your South Shore MA
 High School Senior photographer

I understand that you probably have a lot of questions when you are considering a South Shore MA high school senior photography experience. Here are answers to the questions I hear most often to help get you started.

Is This Right For You?

Questions about style, fit, and who books with Stefanie

How do you describe your photography style?

Bold, bright, and full of real moments. I am all about natural expressions, fun vibes, and helping you feel like your most confident, badass self. No stiff poses. No awkward hands. Just genuine you, looking amazing.

I'm in the Class of 2026. Is it too late to get my senior photos taken?

You are not too late, so take a deep breath. A lot of seniors wait until May or June to do their photos, and honestly it is kind of the perfect time. You get to include all the fun stuff: cap and gown, confetti, your prom look, and even your future college gear if you have already picked your next adventure. You did not miss the boat. You are actually right on time.

I'm in the Class of 2027. Can I book a spot already for next summer or fall?

Not just yet, but you are ahead of the game and I love that energy. If you are Class of 2027, go ahead and add your name to my VIP list HERE. You will be the first to know when my calendar opens for next summer and fall, and trust me, you will want first dibs. These spots go fast.

Can I get professional hair and makeup?

Yes, add it on for $150. It is a total game changer, especially if makeup is not really your thing. Plus, who does not love getting a little pampered before stepping in front of the camera?

I don't know how to pose. Will you help me with that?

That is literally my job. I will tell you what to do with your hands, your feet, your face, all of it. I will pose you from head to toe and hype you up the whole way through. Awkward? Not on my watch.

Can I bring someone with me to the session?

I get it. You might want a hype squad. But honestly, most seniors do better without extra people watching. If someone is joining us, it should be someone chill, not your mom shouting "Fix your hair!" from the bushes. Parents are welcome if you want them there. Just no sideline coaching.

Can I include my pet, sports gear, or other stuff that shows who I am?

Yes, absolutely. Bring your dog, your violin, your basketball, your marching band gear, whatever makes you you. We will make it fun.

Do you Photoshop my images?

I professionally retouch and tone every final image. Got a pimple? Gone. Sunburn? I have got you. But I do not do body modifications. You are enough exactly as you are, and I am here to show you just how amazing that looks on camera.

Planning And Logistics

Questions about booking, locations, outfits, and what to expect

How far in advance should I book my senior session?

If you want first dibs on the best dates and the best light, I recommend booking at least six months in advance. That said, life happens. I do occasionally have last-minute spots open. But do not count on it unless you love living dangerously.

Where does the photoshoot take place?

Wherever your vibe lives. Want tall golden grasses? I have got fields. More into grungy alleyways and street art? We will hit the city. Beach lover? Say less. We will pick a location that fits your personality like your favorite hoodie.

What should I wear for my senior pictures?

Do not panic. I have got you. After you book, I will send you a full wardrobe guide and a Pinterest board to spark ideas. The goal is outfits that actually feel like you. Bonus points if you bring your favorite kicks or that jacket you love but never know when to wear.

What if it rains on my session day?

Do not worry. I keep a close eye on the forecast the week of your shoot. If it looks like rain, we will reschedule, usually within a week. No one is getting soaked in their prom dress on my watch.

Can we shoot at the beach in October or November?

Absolutely. Late fall beach sessions are some of my favorites. Fewer crowds, moody golden light, and sweater weather. Yes please.

Where is the studio located?

I am based in the beautiful coastal town of Marion, Massachusetts, about an hour south of Boston and about 40 minutes from Providence. Right off Route 195 and just over the bridge from Cape Cod.
You can come to me, or I can come to you. If you are more than 25 miles from Marion, there is a travel fee of $0.72 per mile.

Investment And Booking

Questions about pricing, products, payment, and next steps

What products do you offer?

All the good stuff: prints, digital images, heirloom albums, modern acrylic blocks, wall art, and even a phone app with your favorites. We will turn your photos into something you will actually look at. You can see samples HERE.

What is the investment?

Senior sessions start at $490 for the Petite package and go up to $1,300 for the Premium experience. Most of my clients invest somewhere between $1,000 to $2,500 total once they have chosen their favorite products. Yes, there is something for every budget.
You can check out the full package breakdown and the complete investment guide HERE.
Spoiler alert: it is worth every penny.

Do you offer payment plans?

Sure do. I offer interest-free payment plans for product purchases. You just need to set it up within 30 days of booking, and it must be paid in full 30 days before your shoot. It is a great way to budget for the collection you actually want.
Have questions? Schedule a call with me and I will walk you through everything.

How long does it take to receive my products?

Once everything is paid in full, digital images are usually ready quickly after final edits. Printed products take about 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. It is usually faster, but let us plan ahead if you have a deadline like grad party invites or grandma's fridge gallery.

Will you share my images online?

Only if you say yes. I love showing off my seniors, but if you are not comfortable with it, I completely respect that. You will decide during your reveal appointment whether I can share all, some, or none of your images. You are always in control.

I have more questions. How do I reach you?
