Before your session, you will fill out a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your brand. Then we will go over wardrobe ideas, styling tips, and any inspiration you have got in mind. I will also send recommendations for hair and makeup if you are adding that on (which, by the way, is totally worth it).
Pre-Planning Like a Pro
This is where the fun starts. Depending on your package, we might be switching locations, outfits, or vibes. I will direct you from head to toe, guiding every pose and expression so you do not have to worry about what to do with your hands. You will feel confident and relaxed, and you might actually enjoy being in front of the camera.
Shoot Day: Let's Make Some Magic
After your session, it is time to see the magic. We will schedule a viewing and ordering appointment where you will get to see your fully edited images and choose your favorites. For corporate groups, an online gallery makes it easy for each team member to select their own image.
The Big Reveal: Viewing and Ordering
We will hop on a quick call to chat about your vision, goals, and what you want these photos to do for you (besides just looking great). I will answer all your questions, we will pick a date, location, and package that fits your vibe, and then lock it in.

What is the difference between a headshot and a branding session?
A headshot is a single, clean portrait of your face, usually on a neutral background. It is perfect for LinkedIn, a company website, or anywhere you need to show up as a professional. A branding session is a full visual story of you and your business. We shoot multiple locations and outfits and create a library of 20 or more images that cover your website, social media, press features, advertising, and anything else your brand needs.
I have never done a branding session before. How do I know what I need?
That is exactly what our planning call is for. Before we do anything, we sit down and talk about your business, your audience, and what you want people to feel when they land on your website or see your Instagram. I have been doing this for 21 years, and I will help you figure out the right package, the right locations, and the right look for where you are right now.
Do I need hair and makeup?
You do not need it, but most clients who add it are glad they did. My go-to artists are based right at the studio and they know how to enhance your features without making you look like someone else. If you have never had professional hair and makeup done for a shoot, it is worth trying at least once. Most people say it changes the whole experience.
How long does it take to get my images?
Your finished images are typically delivered within two weeks of your session. For headshot packages, you will choose your images in an online gallery. For branding sessions, we will schedule a reveal where you go through everything together and choose your favorites.
Can you come to my business location for branding photos?
Yes, for the right session. The Signature and Deluxe Branding packages include location shoots, and I am happy to shoot at your office, studio, or storefront. For corporate and group headshots, I bring the full studio setup to your location. Travel beyond 25 miles from Marion carries a travel fee at $075 per mile.
