So why do people put so little effort into putting up their “best face forward” in online profiles? This has always boggled my mind.
Having been in this online dating mess of a world, I know first hand how many horrible pictures are out there. Selfies in a dirty bathroom, piles of laundry strewn on the bed behind you, group pictures where you get to play where’s Waldo? And don’t even get me started with the shirtless photos, grainy pictures, out of focus pictures, wearing sunglasses and hats, I could go on and on but you get the idea.
