I know choosing a photographer can be difficult. You want to be sure you not only like the photographer’s work, but are also comfortable with the process and experience provided. Below are some FAQ – frequently asked questions I often get from clients.
Q: What are your prices?
A: My creation session fees start at $200, which pays for my time & talent and does not include products. Prints, Albums & digital files are purchased separately. You can view my product offerings for each session on this site under DETAILS.
Q: How long do sessions typically last?
A: Session times vary between 1-2 hours depending on the type of shoot.
Q: Will you come to our home?
A: Yes. I do shoot on-location using natural light and some additional lighting equipment. Often, this is a better choice for those with small children as they will be in their own element therefore more comfortable. There is a travel fee for locations 25+ miles from the studio in Marion MA.
Q: What do you recommend for clothing options?
A: Once your session is booked you will receive a guide on “What to Wear” which covers all types of sessions.
Q: Can people come that will not partake in the session?
A: It is preferable if they do not. It can cause more distractions than be helpful, especially with children.
Q: How do we view the final images?
A: About 10 days to 2 weeks after your session, it will be time to reveal your amazing images at the studio! You will be presented with approximately 40+ images in a slideshow. We’ll look at each image and I will help you choose the images and products that fit your needs best.
Q: Do you retouch images?
A: All images are completely retouched. I use a skin softening filter that diminishes fine lines, wrinkles, and blemishes. That said, I do not take it upon myself to alter your body in any other way. Posing, lighting and attitude will bring out the Best version of you!
Q: Do you offer makeup & hairstyling?
A: Yes! You can add on professional HMU services for $150 and my stylists will come to you or at the studio and create a look that captures your style beautifully.
Q: Do you have any policies?
A: Yes. To schedule a session you’ll be sent a Booking Proposal that outlines all the policies and the contract can be signed electronically.
Q: Will you automatically use my images in social media marketing or ads?
A: No. Permission is always asked to use images from a session on my website, ads or in the studio. A model release is required to have on file outlining your preferences. You have full control over what you allow or not.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes. I offer interest free Pre-Session Payment Plans broken down into monthly or bi-weekly payments. Must be paid in full 30 days prior to session date.
